Entrevista a Dolores O'Riordan (WUJUUU!!!)

The ZDF website has posted a very informative interview with Dolores O'Riordan (click here) recorded last night after her performance of "Linger" and "Zombie" on Germany's "50 Jahre Rock."
Dolores confirms in the interview that she is nearly 6 months pregnant, a fact not known to fans until hours ago. When asked how she balances family life with rock star life, she reveals, "It's pretty good, I'm getting a lot of kicks though right now," while pointing to her stomach. The interviewer then asks, "Is it a boy or a girl?" to which Dolores responds, "I'm not sure actually. It's very modest though because every time we try to see it, it turns away and covers its genitalia. We're not sure yet. We have a boy and girl already, so this is the third. I'm almost 6 months [pregnant] now, so it will be soon."
Dolores also revealed her most definitive plans yet to release her solo album. "I started working on a solo record about 12 months ago. On a personal level, we went through an awful lot. We had a death in the family, this birth, we moved homes, and all that stuff. I've been inspired by a lot of the experiences, I suppose. But because I write my own material, it takes me a little bit of time to bring out records, so I would hope to have it out in 2005, next year.... fingers crossed, you know, to bring the album out and this bambino as well. Usually after a bambino I like to go back on tour because after being at home so long. It's about that time, it's coming again." Dolores tactfully neglected to mention her legal battle with a former nanny earlier this year, which according to one anonymous source , has been a massive vein of inspiration for Dolores's recent compositions: "Dolores has been in Canada and recovering from the ordeal of having so many terrible things said about her in a public forum. She has been writing songs and music and some of it reflects on her ordeal and the emotions she went through."
Dolores also tells ZDF that she's "addicted" to the stage and has no plans to pull a Kate Bush. "I'm very addicted to it, definitely. It's really a part of me. There's a certain release that I have when I'm on stage. I've always performed and always will when I'm older. I'll probably do like Tina Turner did it. Women do it into their 50s and 60s and yet have kids and be a mom and be normal as well. You can do both."
